Lahore, Pakistan (CFI)-The recent monsoon flooding in Pakistan has destroyed thousands of homes, acres of property, and nearly the entire infrastructure of an already impoverished nation. Millions of people have been affected by the terrible flooding, as homelessness, hunger, thirst, and disease have overwhelmed Pakistan’s poorest citizens. To make matters worse, the Pakistani government has offered little to no aid for those who so desperately need it. In response, many Muslim charities have organized their own resources to help supply fellow Muslims with food, clothing, shelter and medical aid in the flood’s aftermath.
Sadly, very few minority Christians will receive similar help. Even in the midst of such a dire crisis, persecuted believers are still within the lowest class of citizens who will receive any relief aid as they, too, struggle to recover from one of the worst natural disasters in Pakistan’s history.
Fortunately, CFI has been there to help. Our indigenous workers are supplying needy Christian families with care packs filled with basic essentials like nourishing food, medicine and warm blankets. These invaluable packages cost just $19 each, and with your help we can provide many more of them to our Christian brethren in Pakistan.
The need is urgent, so we must act quickly. Will you please help us continue our mission to assist the persecuted church in Pakistan, and send more flood relief into the country as soon as possible? You can purchase a care pack here or contact CFI today at 1-800-323-2273 to make a special donation. Thank you and God bless.
