Mae Hong Son, Thailand-CFI is pleased to share the news that our once malaria-stricken Bible school students have all recovered from the disease, according to a recent report from a CFI source in Thailand.
A couple of weeks ago, we informed you of a malaria outbreak among most of the students at our Bible school in Mae Hong Son, as well as an epidemic that has spread among the refugee population along the Burma/Thai border. Although certain cases of malaria can be severe and even deadly, by the grace of God, all of our students have recovered and are physically able to resume their studies.
We thank you for your concern and loving prayers during such a challenging time, and ask that you continue to pray for these courageous young people. Because malaria is a highly infectious disease, please also pray that the virus will not continue to spread among the refugee population along the border.
