CFI’s co-worker in Bangladesh, known fondly as Bakar, is requesting urgent prayer for his pregnant wife.

Last week, Bakar’s wife developed intense pain in her abdominal area and was subsequently taken to the hospital for examination. Although the doctor recommended that she remain hospitalized, unfortunately, she had no choice but to leave the facility because the family did not have adequate funds to pay for further treatment. She has also been diagnosed with chicken pox – a condition that is potentially dangerous for both mother and child.

Because of unexpected medical expenses, including additional medical care for Bakar’s mother and young son, the family is facing many other financial challenges at this time.

Bakar is an invaluable servant of the persecuted church, and we are deeply indebted to him for all that he continues to do for CFI’s ministry in Bangladesh. Please cover him and his family in intercessory prayer in the coming days and weeks to come.
