Most of us don’t hesitate to “spread the word” about things we read online or hear about on TV, such as celebrity gossip or the latest NFL trades. But how often do we share with others the critical news about Christian persecution — the kind of persecution that claims the lives of thousands of suffering believers around the world every day?

The fact is, CFI’s ministry relies on people like you to share what you know about the persecuted church with others — your friends, co-workers, family members, and your church congregation. As we strive to keep you informed of the latest news right from the hotbeds of persecution in places like Pakistan, Egypt, and Iran, we encourage you to pass this information on to everyone you know — many people who, without your help, may otherwise never learn about the dear price that millions of Christians pay for their faith.

To help “spread the word” about this worldwide crisis, CFI has produced the powerful, thought-provoking online video, “What is Freedom?” This four-minute piece lays out the basis of persecution and describes how CFI’s work is impacting the lives of hundreds of afflicted Christians, and what others can do to help address the crisis.

After viewing “What is Freedom?” on Youtube or Vimeo, pass this link on to everyone you can, including the pastor of your church, to begin a dialogue about persecution — including the important role that we, as free Christians, must play in assisting our Christian brethren who are currently living in bondage.
