Thoelay Tana is in trouble today.

This promising young Bible school student, one of CFI’s finest, has been checked into a hospital in Chiang Mai, after initially complaining of painful lumps in his neck. When doctors at a local clinic were unable to determine the source of the problem, Thoelay was simply given some aspirin for the pain and sent home. Since then, however, the lumps have continued to grow, and when the pain spread into his lower back and kidney area, Thoelay was finally checked into the hospital.

Tests have revealed that, in addition to the growths, Thoelay has a large mass covering approximately 75 percent of the surface of his right lung. Although doctors have no real idea of what the lumps are or why he has pain in his lower back, they scheduled several surgeries to remove the growths, including the one on his lung.

CFI will soon provide an update on this dire situation; in the meantime, we ask that everyone pray for the health of Thoelay Tana as he recovers from these surgical procedures. Please pray that that he will be healed of his illness, despite the apparent prognosis, and that God would grant this young man a peace that surpasses understanding during this difficult time.
