CFI’s microenterprise program has been one of the most successful and important components of our ministry to the persecuted Church simply because it empowers needy Christians with the tools and ability to earn an income for themselves. Our vision for this ministry is expressed simply: “a hand up not a hand-out”.
Dozens of Christian artisans in countries such as Vietnam, Burma, Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, and most recently olive wood crafters in Bethlehem have been able to provide for their families from the sale of their quality handcrafts in the United States.
CFI promotes and sells microenterprise handcrafts through its online store and monthly newsletter. The array of attractive products — from clothing and jewelry to bags and home décor — are all unique, affordable items that make perfect gifts for any occasion.
