President Trump gives new hope to persecuted Christians

hope for persecuted

“President Trump is a hero for the Persecuted Church around the world…”

Thousands of persecuted Christian women, men, and children from Pakistan are hiding in the shadows, living in the slums of Bangkok, Thailand… families who are scared, hungry, homeless, and tired.

These Christian families fled persecution in Pakistan, escaping torture and death from the hands of radical Muslim terrorists. They came to Thailand because it is one of the few nations whereby they could obtain a “tourist” visa. Bangkok is also home to a large United Nations headquarters whereby the fleeing Christians can apply for asylum for possible resettlement as refugees to a free country.

But the harsh reality for these persecuted Christians is that the United Nations is not resettling Christian refugees from Pakistan — or any other nation where Christians are being slaughtered for their faith.

Until now.

The Obama Administration refused to admit that there is “radical Islamic terrorism” around the world. As a result, Christians who are persecuted by Muslims were not eligible for asylum. The consequence is the UN was not giving persecuted Christians any assistance for possible resettlement to a free country.

Thankfully, there is hope. President Trump is making dramatic changes in immigration policy and is giving priority to persecuted Christians.

In a recent interview on CBN’s “The Brody File” (1/27/17), President Trump was asked about the plight of persecuted Christians:

DAVID BRODY: “Persecuted Christians, we’ve talked about this, the refugees overseas. The refugee program, or the refugee changes you’re looking to make. As it relates to persecuted Christians, do you see them as kind of a priority here?”

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “Yes.”

DAVID BRODY: “You do?”

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “They’ve been horribly treated. Do you know if you were a Christian in Syria it was impossible, at least very tough to get into the United States? If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair, everybody was persecuted in all fairness, but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians. And I thought it was very, very unfair. So we are going to help them.”

Christian Freedom International supports the new polices of the Trump Administration. President Trump is a hero for the Persecuted Church around the world. Finally, we have a President who cares for persecuted Christians and is actually going to do something about it.
